How are fees and powers of attorney handled?

We quote flat, schedule-based fees per instruction — no surprises. A simply signed power of attorney is sufficient for most proceedings before TURKPATENT; notarization or legalization is generally not required, and we confirm the exact formality for your matter at the outset.

How long does trademark registration take in Türkiye?

A smooth national application typically registers in around 6–8 months: formal and absolute-grounds examination, a two-month publication window for oppositions, then registration upon payment of the final fee. Oppositions or refusals extend the timeline, and we docket and report every stage.

Which international routes cover Türkiye?

Türkiye is party to the Madrid Protocol for trademarks, the PCT and the European Patent Convention for patents (including EP validations after grant), and the Hague Agreement (Geneva Act 1999) for industrial designs. We handle designations, national phase entries, and validations end to end.

What happens if an application is opposed or refused?

We respond before TURKPATENT with arguments and evidence, appeal to the Re-examination and Evaluation Board where needed, and — as attorneys at law — take the matter to the specialized IP courts against final Office decisions.
